Enjoy live Salsa music with this award-winning five-piece band in celebration of Cura Contemporary's one year anniversary!  “Edgardo & Candela,” or simply “Candela,” is a highly energetic Salsa Orchestra that has been a Bay Area staple for over 36 years, making them one of California’s most established salsa bands. Their trademark sound is characterized by powerful horns, a tight rhythm section, and exceptional vocals. The band’s instrumentation includes piano, bass, trombone, sax, flute, guitar, conga drums, bongo drums, timbales, and vocalists. Composed of the Bay Area’s top professional musicians, Candela consistently delivers an incredible musical experience. Additionally, enjoy Salsa Dance lessons with Chiquy Mejia!
