Cura Contemporary is thrilled to welcome the 2026 Poppy Jasper International Film Festival in our upstairs gallery! We will be hosting the Virtual Reality Screenings on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th, 2026 from 1PM - 4PM.

The PJIFF film festival will be held this year from April 8th to April 15th, 2026, and will include online film screenings, speaker panels, awards, gala’s, food and fun. This annual festival takes place in the historic towns of Morgan Hill, San Martin, Gilroy, Hollister, and San Juan Bautista, California, which are known for their vibrant arts scene, award-winning wineries and restaurants, and welcoming small-town vibe.

The mission of the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival is to change the way we see each other through film. We promote inclusion, champion diversity, and empower all people, including people of color, women, and all of those who have been historically marginalized, to tell their stories through film and the digital arts. We celebrate underrepresented voices and the power of art to illuminate the human condition.
