Morgan Hill Open Studios (MHOS) was created in collaboration with the Morgan Hill Library Culture and Arts Commission (LCAC) and the City of Morgan Hill, and operates as a project of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF).
MHOS event committee is made up of local artists, art enthusiasts, and art professionals from Morgan Hill and the surrounding area. Their mission is to connect art lovers with local artists from across southern Santa Clara County through their annual open studio event. MHOS promotes the arts as a significant South Santa Clara asset and increases public awareness about the quality and diversity of art created in our county.
Since 2021, the event has attracted art enthusiasts from all over Santa Clara County and surrounding areas to tour artists' home studios, or select centralized public venues—such as the Morgan Hill Centennial Recreation Center and historic Villa Mira Monte — where multiple artists set up displays and demonstrations of their creations. There is something for every art lover at the MHOS event.
