Carrie Ann Plank Solo Show:
Carrie Ann Plank is a San Francisco-based artist working in installation, printmaking, and painting. Her work focuses on sophisticated geometric layers, using mathematical equations to create overlapping impressions that reveal new and distinct pattern formations. By examining the intersections of these patterns, she explores the space between them, often referencing scientific data and abstracted structures, such as those seen in electron microscopy and mathematical order theory.
Jylian Gustlin Solo Show:
Jylian Gustlin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the technological innovations of the Silicon Valley have profoundly influenced both her passions and her art. In her artwork, Jylian merges the capabilities of modern technology with traditional techniques. She is driven by a desire to push the creative boundaries of both digital tools and traditional mediums. Her process involves drawing, painting, and scratching with materials like epoxy resin, oil and acrylic paints, charcoal, wax, gold leaf, pastels, and graphite to discover their unique effects.
